"The Texas Panhandler"

When Hank and Peggy refuses to buy Bobby trendy jeans which he thinks will bring him popularity, he goes out on his own to get a job to pay for them himself. Encouraged by some older kids bumming on the sidewalk, Bobby becomes a panhandler to raise money instead of working. When the other kids at school see his new persona, his reputation soars and he becomes popular. Hank discovers Bobby’s new job and forces him to give back the money. When Bobby needs money and the other street kids won’t help him out, he understands the importance of earning money and not waiting for a handout.
